Pastor James W. Carroll was born in Renton, Washington. He was saved in 1965 at a church service in nearby Parker, Colorado. He graduated from Denver's Temple Baptist Bible College in 1976. That same year he was ordained at First Baptist Church of Englewood, Colorado where he also served on church staff. He married his wife, Sally, in 1973. They have 3 daughters, Jennifer, Jackie and Janelle and three grandsons, Zachary, Gavin, Cameron and Rylee. Pastor and Sally Carroll
have been involved in church planting and were instrumental in establishing independent,
fundamental, Baptist churches in Oregon, Wisconsin and Colorado. He is the founder
of Lighthouse Baptist Church which was organized in April 1992.
